Pokemon series that is funny like Indigo League?

I saw Indigo League which was the first season I think and loved it. It was hysterical at times. And then I tried XY and hated it because it was so serious and not very funny at all. This is not nostalgia because I just saw it recently. The reason that Indigo League was so great was partially due to how inept and clueless everyone was. What other pokemon series have that humor that Indigo League had?

Yeah

The Indigo League/Season 1 was Legendary and Funny
The Hoenn Saga and the Battle Frontier Saga had Silly but Funny Moments
Ash's Gligar/Ash's Gliscor from The Sinnoh Saga has got some Funny Moments
But I Never Watched XY nor Best Wishes

I liked Orange League and the Advanced series were pretty good.
