Charmander The Stray Pokemon

Anyone else agree this is the first episode of the series to be genuinely good? I always found it to be quite a dark/serious episode that touched on the possibility of a Pokemon dying and being abandoned by their trainers. Definitely one of my favourites.

I thought that was a very fleshed out episode. It had a great deal of emotion too. The way Ash and his Charizard have come such a long way all these years later cements the legacy of that episode.
