Questionable stuff about the anime

First of all this is the Anime, not the games, it goes way beyond that, and besides, in the world of animation anything is possible. The type advantage thing works as for a beginner but sooner or later you will have to realize that going by advantages can turn you into a a bully. Too bad the games never had an honor system unlike other games such as Ogre Battle and Infamous, where your actions and attitudes affect others. If you were a Jerk people won't help you, but if you do your part and don't get too close to your power, people will reward you. Ash is doing the right thing by doing disadvantage victories, they're way more exciting than an advantage victory. The freebies of the badges shouldn't really be anything to complain about, kindness should never go unrewarded and besides this gets made up for in the Orange Island Arc. So the choice is yours, would you rather go the hard way, and get the respect of the people, or get frowned upon as the next creep? If Charizard HAD obeyed Ash in the Indigo Arc, he probably would be no better than Gary. Finally, you complain that Johto's pacing was horrible, I say different, I would rather have a slow pace with character development plus seeing the world, than see episodes that feel like repeats of older episodes minus the fun and wonder of those.
