Shirt Ripping

Just out of curiosity, who thinks that having Leo rip off his shirt in the intro so that kids who watch the show would see Leo's admittedly hot body every time an episode comes on was just a tad gratuitous?
I personally didn't mind it... In fact, the shirt ripping makes Lost Galaxy's opening the best Power Rangers openings of all for me... well that and the intro song was also the best of all the series. But who felt slightly uncomfortable knowing that younger kids (like 5-6 year olds) would have to stare at Leo doing his striptease every episode? Anyways, just bring up an old topic out of nostalgia and curious to see how other people felt.

Leo was hot. The hottest ranger ever IMO.

I never thought it was gratuitous! In Fact I loved seeing Leo rip off his shirt when I was kid, I think its extremely hawt now . I think he was my first serious TV Crush as well. I hearted Leo above all others.

Sorry, but Lost Galaxy was the worst opening up to that point. MMPR was the best follow by PRiS. I think the shirt ripping is kind of cheesy and unnecessary. Why did he do that? I just don't understand. But I guess it looked pretty cool. He was sweating kind of a bit there, maybe he was just hot.

I don't see it being any different then watching Tarzan, Jungle Book or other shows or movies where the man had his shirt off.

OMG I was rewatching this series and LOLOL Leo changed his shirts in the intro like 4 times.

I thought it was cool, sickest body of a ranger ever. Also that amazing square jaw of his, I still thought Mike was hotter tough. Also the quantum ranger was a bit hotter. Noone can't replace Jason as hottest ranger ever for me.
