I LOVE this soundtrack, but one of my favorite of Zimmer's works is actually the soundtrack for The Lion King. Some beautiful instrumental tracks in that movie!

I loved this sound track, but thought his track for DaVinci's Code was just as good.

Both have some of those haunting elements...

The Lion King, Interstellar, and this are his best scores.

Phenomenal. That scene when Commodus enters Rome is phenomenal, one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. Rome is almost blue, the frenzied crowd fits right in to what Commodus knows them to be.
