Gladiator - 15 year anniversary - Aged like fine wine

I saw it in on IMAX for he 15 year anniversary screening.
Being someone that has seen the movie countless times on DVD, Bluray etc through the years, this was finally a chance to relive my first screening in the year 2000.
Seein it on the big screen again with a packed audience again... Man oh man, what a feeling! I almost (i say almost, i did) have a tear running down at the end of the movie. Wow, i never expected that. What a powerful film.

If you have the chance too see it on the big screen again, go do it!.

I agree - this movie has survived the years very well.

I just watched it again for the 2nd time (first time was at least 10 years).

I really liked it the first time; was afraid it might not live up to my memory. Not to worry - it was, once again, fantastic!

I just gave it a rating of 9 (rarely do I rate this high).

And, a little to my surprise, I shed more than a few tears at the end.

Amazing - this is one beautiful piece of art.

I believe time will prove that Gladiator is one of the all time classics! movies of its genre.

This, Titanic and LOTR will never age for me.

^Thats because movies like Gladiator, Titanic and LOTR used sets and real actors in addition to CGI. Nowadays everything is just on a computer.

Right on man!
Cgi destroyed everything

I didn't know there was an anniversary screening, but this movie is still my all time favorite movie. I still watch it at least twice a year.

I wish I could see it on the big screen again.

What we do in life echoes in eternity Russell Crowe as General Maximus in Gladiator (2000)

Fine wine? Not possible when it's vinegar to begin with. Terrible film with terrible acting. The cutting was choppy and the story line was nothing but fits and starts throughout. The only reason people think this piece of trash is any good is because its contemporaries are even worse. There's been precious little worth looking at for the past 20 years... and this is no different.
