this movie is disgusting

one of the worst movies i've seen.

this was supposed to be set in rome?

how come rome doesn't look like the rome from the movies from the 50s?

where are the colors? why are all the colors faded out?

who was that woman singing when russel was walking through the field with his hand on the wheat. her singing was so annoying made me want to kill myself. worst part of the movie.

i can't remember was the sky blue? or was a big white blob as all new movies are?

why was colliseum glowing? was it made out of metal? cause light doesn't reflect off stone like that? kinda looked like it was cgi. was it?

what a filthy pile of puke.

i don't care about acting or story if the visuals suck. that's the case here.

you wanna see some good roman movies? go watch the robe, demetrius and the gladiators, quo vadis, ben hur, cleopatra, greatest story ever told, jesus of nazareth.

Cleopatra lacked colors too though. Maybe not on the interior but definitely exterior. I could explain further but why bother. The Original Poster brings up some good points but you are obviously trolling and if you aren't you're just being dumb so why further the discussion.

Good movie, but I will agree that it started the trend of "lets make history look gritty and faded out", which ive grown to hate. Just like how historical movies from the 50's look cheesy now, people are gonna look back at current movies one day and think "that looks so early 2000's"

reply

no they don't look cheesy.

this generation is cheesy.

Literally every single film has someone on the message board calling it "one of the worst films I've ever seen".

You are unimportant and irrelevant.
