How is it, what do you think of this one? Remaking Black Sunday doesn't seem to be warranted, unless you do it taking full advantage of things Mario Bava couldn't and Barbara Steele wouldn't do back when this was made - make it sleazy/sexy and lean into that.

reminds of a movie like The Sect in that it has some great visuals, inventive cinematography & lighting, good musical score, interesting plot, and the location/set design is creative,
but no engaging performances, not enough Eva Grimaldi, breaks its own supernatural rules or doesn't define them concretely, at times is totally nonsensical, and it loses steam pretty often - there's a good 30 minutes where the same scenario plays out 3-4 times with almost identical results,
although it definitely doesn't look like a TV-movie and i'd recommend it to any diehard fan of Italian horror,
and yes, it's pretty sleazy with quite a bit of nudity and sex
Thanks. I'll hope it comes to Tubi, doesn't sound like it's really worth a blind buy. But I'd definitely like to see it at least once.
