I think my favorite scene is the end when Paxton tells Bozz that he'll write a book for him. Jim says, "No, you won't." Also the scene with Bozz, Paxton and Cantwell, when the kid says "Doesn't it strike you how each one of us is a little bit of everything, and everything is *beep*." Then Colin Farrell starts to cry. Ahh.

I loved Cota's story about his experience in Vietnam. Amazing acting in that scene. Liked the scene with Cantwell when they're peeling potatos, too. I may've said this before, but just to reiterate: best line = Cota: I promise you tears before breakfast.

Everybody says their favorite scenes is the nude scenes and the sex scene at the beginning just because they love Colin's body (and bits...) but that sex scene it's actually full of AWESOME dialogues and great acting, really! You may want to watch it a few times (so you get bored of the nudity) and then watch it again so you can focus on the important stuff.

shareI personally thought my favourite scene was when Bozz and Paxton were talking in the dark, lighting a cigarette and Sgt. Cota comes over and tells the story of his friend and him at Vietnam, doing the same thing Bozz and Paxton were.
shareThat was a great scene. One of my friends was a Colombian soldier, fighting against the rebels. Years before this movie came out he talked to me about how he quit smoking because someone in his unit had been shot because the rebels zeroed in on the cherry of his cigarette.

I think my fav scene in the movie would have to be the one between Bozz and Miter in the showers, at the barracks. That whole scene was very well acted, written, etc.
