Tim burton

I love the movie, but think of how much cooler it would've been if Tim Burton, had been able to direct it.

This and Burton's Planet of the Apes came out around the same time. I think the productions should have switched directors since each would be better suited for the other's film.

A Jim Carrey/Tim Burton collaboration has been years overdue.

reply

Nah... I could do without Johnny Depp as The Grinch and Helena Bonham Carter as Cindy Lou Who.

Logan, buddy. It's me, Deadpool! I shot youuuuuu....

reply

Please, you haven't seen too many of his movies have you? They're not in half his stuff.

reply

I've seen pretty much all of his movies, thank you very much. He's been cinematically blowing Depp for the better part of two decades, save for the occasional movie here and there (and it probably kills him to have to do that). Carter gets special treatment being his wife.

Furthermore, I was making a cheap joke. Calm your nerves, why don't you.

Alright! Well I happen to think they work real well together in his films given the performances he can get out of them. It helps they're that close off screen. Regardless this movie came out before they started being in stuff together which started with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on.

reply

Except it started 15 years earlier in Edward Scissorhands.

reply

I know, they did that and Ed Wood and Sleepy Hollow before all that which are the only ones I don't hear crap about from simple minds. Might still have been Jim Carrey since he was still in his prime.
