I just saw the Grinch on ABC Family and there were a LOT of differences between that version and my DVD. The classroom scene with Cindy, the actual light contest between Martha May and the mom, and the entire town in general were given a lot more depth.
shareI know! I love the ABC Family version better than the dvd actually...ya know, if it wasn't for all those commercials every ten minutes! But I agree, it gave the movie more depth and made it more interesting to watch. I actually feel the dvd version just cheated us to be honest; those scenes are on the deleted scenes section in the bonus features but not in the movie itself. I wonder why?...

I think it may be the extended version, which surprises me because ABC Family usually cuts stuff for time.
