Post if you're an adult who loves this movie
I saw it as a kid when it was released and I loved it. So much so I still watch it regularly to this day (I'm 25). Unfortunately I couldn't find it last year so I skipped it last xmas.

shareI'm 25 too, and I LOVE this movie. I can't believe I failed to appreciate it for so many years after it was first released. I guess I was just too much a Seuss purist--but now I give each remake a fairer chance to impress me and am not so turned-off straight away. (This is definitely the best one by far, though, imo.) A few years ago when I really paid attention to to this for the first time, I felt compelled to watch it a few dozen times just to make up for the past, lol. I enjoyed it so much...most particularly Martha May Whovier and the creation of her storyline. It's just a super-fun, creative film, and it's one of the many, many, many holiday movies and specials I try to put on each year throughout December.
I like you, Um. I like largeness...share
I loved the animated version of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas", and the book was even greater. Dr. Seuss was such a great author. I loved reading his books, in general, as a young kid.

I know I'm still 'young' but liking this kind of stuff at my age is unknown and deadly...

RED AND BLACK, BEAR ATTACK
BRING BACK THE BEARS!!
33 years old, laughed so hard i almost cried
shareIt's still hilarious, Jim Carey makes anything funny. There's a bunch of funny one liners.
share24 years old, watch it every single year. So many great lines. Favorites:
- Talk about a recluse. He only comes out once a year and he never catches any flack for it. Probably goes up there to avoid the taxes.
- You think he's sweet? Good kid...baaaaad judge of character.
- I believe I'm here to accept an award of some kind? And the child...mentioned a check?
- Hate hate hate. Double hate. LOATHE entirely!
Also, the entire scene where he is directing Max as Rudolph.
Also, when he rips the table cloth off the table and all the dishes stay put, so he comes back and messes everything up and tips the table over.
So many more, just what came to mind.
I'm 23 and I LOVE this movie. Jim Carey is fantastic!
shareI'm well south of 40 and this is one of my favorite Christmas movies. Right behind It's a Wonderful Life and Scrooged.
I understand. Thank you for telling me. -The masked bandit
