Gosh, I can't believe it's been 12 years already.
I was 9 when it premiered and I remember seeing it in theaters with my mom and aunt. I remember not being able to grasp that it was Jim Carrey underneath all that makeup because there was no trace of his actual features (obviously the point.. lol)
I've never fooled anyone. I've let people fool themselves.
I was 11 and lived in North Dakota at the time. My Grandparents and Uncle came out to visit us there for Thanksgiving weekend and we saw it in the theater with my parents and younger brother on Sunday night that weekend, before I had to go back to school and everyone else had to go back to work. The weather was about 10 below zero and since I didn't get to do much outside that weekend, seeing this on the big screen with everyone was a fun way to end the weekend.

Oy I feel old. I was 22 when I saw it, and have now introduced my daughters to it at 8.
I'd forgotten how much JC ran amok in the film, though.
I was 6 years old when this came out and I STILL remember my mom taking me to the movie theater to see it. I really loved it!
