Anyone else think Marina got too upset in 'Prunella sees the Light'?

Prunella did overdo it with trying to help Marina around (even though she's blind). However, I have always hated her reaction near the end when Prunella tries to help her up. She never even bothered to ask Prunella what was going on, but just holds her frustration in until it's too late.

Marina WAY over-reacted. This is why I hate this episode, the blowout at the end.

I guess she did kind of overreact. Prunella was just trying to look out for her and most of all, she meant well.

True. I also felt that the ending was kind of rushed (I would have liked to see a scene where they apologized).

From my experience, constantly reminding someone who has a handicap that, yes, they have a handicap, is going to grate on them and cause them to react accordingly. Marina seems like she can handle herself pretty well, and her misgivings about receiving help didn't seem like it was motivated by silly "pride" or whatever. I can certainly understand her situation... albeit from my own comparatively non-handicapped point of view. So maybe I don't know jack.

Also, Arthur has never been a show to shy away from not simplifying problems into "right" and "wrong"... everybody makes mistakes sometimes. Just feels like a natural extension of that, at least to me it does.

I never put much thought into it. Didn't really bother me, but like Starsky said, it was probably just meant to show how the characters don't often make the sensible choice.

It was interesting how Buster of all people was the voice of reason.
