Dull Filler
The ending was good. The plot was ok. The acting was good. Bjork wasn't THAT amazing as he fans on here want you to believe. She was playing a childishly naive person. The same person she plays (or is) in every interview that I have seen her in.
But it is the filler of this movie that is uninteresting. It is a long movie and it felt longer because it was so dull. Character development doesn't need to take that long, and this story was not complicated so there wasn't any need to drag it out. I do not know if it is the fault of the director, editor or both. But Requiem For a Dream made me cry harder in half the time. And it was more engaging.
