Was Cole only assigned visitors who died violently?

Did anyone else notice this similarity with all of Cole's visitors? That they all died violently, shot, hanged, stabbed, one suicide victim/slashed wrists, arson burn victims, munch hausen poisoning, violent accidents face it the woman at the end was given a defective bike helmet which is why her skull was cracked and she got hit by a car, no wonder she died! Meanwhile, where are all of the people who died somewhat peacefully/not painless but peaceful, there's a difference I know but where were the cancer victims, stroke victims, died of old age but still had business on earth, complications by ALS, complications of Multiple Sclerosis, complications with Parkinson's Disease auto immune diseases as well as self inflicted harm gone too far; smoking, alcohol poisoning and drug overdose/those happen. As for Cole's grandmother possibly being the only visitor who got a peaceful death/we don't know whether or not she died of old age it could be possible she met with violent murder herself since her death was never revealed. With Vincent, we can only guess what visitors he was allowed and whether or not all of his visitors died violently or if some died peacefully but still relatively young before they could finish what they started in life since all we have to go by is a voice recording that Malcolm made when Vincent was a kid and Malcolm was alive because Vincent killed himself before he elaborated on what types of ghosts were haunting him day in day out and the voice on the tape was of a Hispanic man begging for his life but they killed him anyways obviously as Malcolm was able to hear him after his own death, and if Vincent appeared to Cole everyone would question whether or not Malcolm was alive. Even if there was a third ghost whisperer wandering around Philadelphia, who was only assigned to help those who died peacefully and naturally crossover; he/she would still have the same bruises, cuts, scars that Cole and Vincent had because nice person or not, nobody is above violent anger/outbursts which explains why Cole never tells Crowe outright that Crowe is dead because even the nicest person can become violent and lash out finding that out which is why you see his wife's breath in the end and she's freezing cold.

Long story short: Did either Cole or Vincent ever meet anyone who met a calm end and wasn't killed in a violent, brutal event?

What about dying in your sleep?

I thought the suffering and confused ghosts might be the only ones left lingering in the world after death. The grandmother seems to be the one outlier, but perhaps she was worried enough about her daughters situation that she couldn't leave. I also had the impression that for much of the film Cole couldn't tell if someone was a ghost or not.
