Who wrote + performed the theme music?

I love this tune, so lovely on a summer's day, and reminiscent of one when the weather's horrid!

I always think that Goldfrapp's song 'Lovely Head' (2000) seems to rip off the sound & feel somewhat... although it's somewhat more downbeat...

anyway, if anyone knows who wrote/performed, I'd be much obliged if they'd tell me! :)
