ONE OF MARSDEN'S BEST

I loved this movie and have it on VHS and on DVD. Hard to find though!
This was one of James Marsden's best performances. He was awesome.
It's a shame it was not in theaters.

"This was one of James Marsden's best performances."

Does this mean he's actually had a good performance? That guy can bring down any scene he's in just by showing up. He ruined the X-Men movies AND Superman Returns, just by bringing his on-screen (ahem) "acting chops". About the only movie his acting abilities seemed perfectly suited for was Zoolander. At least on that film, bad acting looks like it is on purpose.

I agree, James was fantastic in this, particularly when he got to flex his comedic muscles (ie. 'the perfect f^^^').

Go take a step outside - see what's shaking in the real world.

Are you guys kidding? His "performance" was BY FAR the worst part of this entire movie. Every single mannerism and line delivery was cringe-worthy. I suppose some of the fault was the script, but my god, one of the most obnoxious performances I can think of.

I had to laugh reading this, he spoiled this film for me, I couldn't watch him any more, sappy and naive, just terrible, but "great acting" Ha Ha Haaa, you've got to be kidding me.

This guy would be better off in network sitcoms with canned laughter, but even then he would still suck terribly.
