Birthday Candle

I just noticed. O.W. Grant tells James Marsden to take the birthday candle with him, if he wants his wish to come true. But the candle never comes back into play. Too bad he didn't get to a point where the birthday candle was just what he needed to get himself out of a jam on Interstate 60.

Missed opportunity by the filmmakers.

He drops it when he gets hit on the head by the bucket. The wish was already starting to come true, so the candle had already served its purpose.
