Worst menus ever!!

Has anybody tried to watch the special features on this thing? you have to listen to a bunch of useless talking before being only told which direct to press to pick what you want. amazingly horrible. I dont know whos idea this was but my god its annoying. But its strange though because I watch this on my laptop and remember having pretty normal menus. Watching it for the first time on a dvd player and it took me forever to find the commentary. still dont know where the cast commentary is. And they dont even turn down the movies audio during the commentary. Like holy *beep* who made this *beep* dvd?

i have a universal remote and there is no "title" button, so it was a friggin nightmare trying to find the band commentary, which wasnt that great anyway. listening to gene simmons drone on in his monotone voice got old real f'n fast

reply

No Audio button, either? You can hit change audio tracks while watching the movie. No need for the menu.

The trivia says it's one of the first DVD made

No it doesn't.

Not even close. This came out in 1999, three years after Twister - which WAS the first movie released on DVD.

I will say though that this is I think the ONLY DVD that I have ever owned that actually used the Angle feature (during the concert). I always love playing with that.

If it's the same as I have, it looks real amateur.

reply

I hate it too.
