Now find Shannon Tweed's scenes very awkward

Have had this movie on DVD for many years and of course have rewatched it many times. I now find the Shannon Tweed scenes unwatchable. Can't imagine even SHE would agree to play a pedophile in a movie today. I don't hold it against the filmmakers or her. Times have changed, since both the '70s and the '90s. And there was no malice intended. But based on the way things are today, I can't imagine this scene would fly if the movie were made in 2016.

Never thought twice about it myself to be honest.

She's one of the hottest women of the 90s and any teenage boy wishes he was Hawk in that scene.

I agree 100%. And in the movie, I think her character assumed me was of legal age. Sure, we know he's in High School but to her, he's just some young goofy guy in a strip club. Not quite sure what her character saw in his character but CptHowdy is right, I'd have given anything to be Hawk.

She's almost 60.

1. He was in the strip club so her character had to assume he was 18.
2. The age of consent in Michigan is 16. I think it's safe to assume the characters were at least 16 as they did drive to the concert so there was no crime committed.
3. Having sex with a minor does not make one a pedophile. A pedophile is somebody attracted to pre-pubescent children. If he were underage she would be a statutory rapist but that carries a much more lenient punishment than somebody convicted of assault of a young child.

I live in Michigan and they say they say the age of consent is 17 but they will still bust you if they feel like it
