Would Deacon and Doug be such good buddies in real life?
I can see Spence hanging out in Doug's garage watching tv because he's got nothin'. But Deacon seems like a smart guy who's got a real life - wife and children, presumably things to do, places to go. Why would he be spending so much time sitting on the couch in doofus' garage watching tv? Doesn't he have friends of his own? Doesn't his wife object? Is he so eager to get out of that apartment?
