G-Night stalker

How did Spence send the E-mails to Doug while he was in the same room?

reply

On his phone.

I also know (used to do this with my old hotmail account to mess with friends) You can set your email account to send emails at certain times, and you don't have to be logged in.

reply

Good point. You can hit the "send later" option.

But, if I recall, Spence was making comments in "real time".

Like, for example, saying things to Doug such as: "I can see that you are scratching your head at this exact moment." or "I see that you are wearing a blue shirt right now." (or whatever).

These were comments that Spence was making in "real time", so as to freak Doug out. And to make Doug paranoid. To make Doug feel that he was being watched and stalked.

Spence could not do this effectively with "pre-scripted" comments that he could simply email in the "send this email later" mode.

reply

Yes, Spence had a Palm device.

I think you need to re-watch the episode. When Spence reveals himself as the stalker they clearly show how he sent the emails while being inconspicuous.

reply

Except, if I remember it well, Doug was getting emails with Spence in the same room and Spence wasn't on any device when Doug got a message.

I had wondered about this too.

reply

When Spence reveals himself they show flashbacks of how Spence was able to send Doug emails while he was in the same room with him.

reply

Spence was a complete queer carrying out that prank.

reply

Did you guys see an edited version on tv or something? Because in the flashback at the end you clearly see him typing on a BlackBerry or something while Doug and Deacon are at the computer in the background.

reply

Yes exactly
