Thriller vs. Tales of the Unexpected

Maybe this is another difficult/unfair comparison, but here goes anyway:

Which do you prefer?

"Thriller" wins this one hands down, TOTU has many good episodes but some real turkeys too, "Thriller" has no turkeys but mostly extremely good episodes.

There are 112 episodes of "Tales of the Unexpected" with stories from over 30 different writers .. in comparison there are only 43 "Thriller" and all are from stories by Brian Clemens ... so TOTU covered more areas and had more scope for poor installments with a wider range of plots ... being only 25 minutes it is also arguable it was always a "tighter" series with less padding whilst "Thriller" with a longer running time had more scope for building atmosphere.

I'd dispute there were no turkeys in "Thriller" too ... there are about 4 or 5 that are poor on several levels.

Thriller. It's 40 mins longer than Tales of the Unexpected.

Thriller. More gripping and occasionally fast-paced, with some strong plotlines. TOTU were more like morality tales.
