I watched it, but i honestly didn't get the end !!! can someone explain to me please what happens in the end ?? who was that old man ?? why was he doing this ?? and what was he doing in the first place ?? how could he live for too long ???

please help me

Well the old man was a satanist who kept extending his life due to inhabiting the bodies of other people. Those people who the girl saw were actually dead. The old man was just using their spirits to mess with the girls mind because she was to be the next person he inhabits.
