This movie sh*ts all over its message

This movie is #8 on Doug Walker's list "Doug's Top 10 Movies He Hates But Everyone Else Loves". I personally love this movie, but Doug pointed out a huge flaw:

"They start off making this pact that they're gonna get laid before, whatever, senior year is out. And then by the end, they say "you know what? *beep* it. We don't need to do this. You know what? Sex should be a special thing that we do when we're ready and we want to have it with that special person. It shouldn't be a contest." Good for you movie. Good message. Good thing to send out to teenage kids that may feel pressure about it and stuff... What'd they do? They all sleep with people that very night. So, there went the message out the window. Just totally gone. So, it didn't have a good message, or it tried but totally failed."

I *LOVE* 'The Nostalgia Critic' *HOWEVER*:

Once they STOPPED worrying about it, they started being themselves and THAT'S what gave them confidence & honesty, in @ least 3 cases(we find out Jim was gonna get laid, 'cuz she wanted it!) Oz tells Heather everything, Kevin realizes he DOES love Vicky & Finch even briefly mentions the 'bathroom incident' "Pardon me?" "NEVER MIND!"

I fell asleep during INCEPTION BUT I FEEL like I still saw it!
