After watching Urban Legend and The Big Lebowski for the first time recently I'm kind of curious about how Tara Reid was viewed once this movie came out in 1999. I haven't watched any American Pie movie yet, but I've looked it up and they were all huge worldwide hits. Was she considered a promising actress? What was the extent of her popularity?

Also, is her role in this similar to the two movies I mentioned?

For a while she appeared to be the breakout star from the American pie film but then it all went wrong.
