I'm trying to find some intelligent films about gay relationships and I've seen Latter Days (OK but the lead actors were holding back), Brokeback Mountain (Just plain stunning), My Summer of Love (Not very good) and My Beautiful Launderette (Meh. Can't see what all the fuss was about).
Get Real looks really good; is it?????
Give it a rating out of 5 for me please!
It is certainly worth watching. For the relationship aspect, I'd put it somewhat below 'Beautiful Thing.' If you don't mind subtitles, 'Just a Question of Love (Juste Une Question d'Amour)' is the best of the bunch (in my estimation). Watch them all, they're cheap enough at Netflix, and each of them has some really interesting aspects. Please come back and post your comments afterwards.

I guess some people really hate them cause they're so low budget and the dialog can be a silly at times, but I really love Gregg Araki's "The Living End" and "Totally F_cked Up". I think both movies have two of the most passionate gay love stories I've ever seen on film.
