Bare: A Pop Opera
hey everyone, i never saw this movie or the off broadway show 'Bare: A Pop Opera' although i lovee the music from Bare. i was just wondering if anyone who saw Bare knows if this movie is a lot like the musical?
shareThe stories are SO SO SO similar... You have the sensitive writer/artistic guy and the school's #1 jock who all the girls love. Because the characters are very much the same, "bare" and "Get Real" run into the same issues... If you know the music from "bare" like the back of your hand, alot of the lyrics appear in "Get Real"'s script. "Get Real" has very much a happier ending than "bare". "Get Real" has a glimpse of hope for the future while "bare" offers no hope for the future. You really need to check both of them out!! "Get Real" is one of my top 5 favorite movies of all times and "bare" is one of my top 3 favorite musicals of all time so CHECK THEM OUT!! haha
