I love this movie

A week ago I saw this movie for the first time and since then I've seen it several times, has become one of my favorite movies. It changed my life, it's very romantic and the actors Ben Silverstone and Brad Gorton represent their love in a very realistic way, wonderful and innocent. The end it seemed very sad to me they should have remained together, I was enchanted with that love. The movie is beautiful, 10 years have passed since its production but I hope they make a sequel where they stay together, it would be marvelous to see Steven and John together again.

Well, dear, I feel you but John has to grow a very strong BACKBONE before he even thinks of asking Stephen for another chance. How many chances did he get as it is? As I said on another post, I do understand, they're high school students; and even most (supossedly) adults have trouble with integrity issues....Look at what a mess the world is in!

But, that kick to the ribs in the locker room really did it for me. Even at the very end of the movie John is thinking of himself "no one followed you did they?" And I don't recall much in the way of an apology.

I am totally with you though, that this is a GREAT movie. One of the best for Gay issues, coming out, young innocent love etc.

I too hope for a sequel.......Wonder who we write to about that?
