if they made an American remake?
shareWhy be mad? Worst case scenario is it will be bad. Bad or good, it still wouldn't take away from the original. I'll never understand why people are so against remakes on principle.
shareAs a rule, Americans tend to remake things then claim it was theirs all along.
shareBecause they suck out the oxygen out of the discussion, and tarnish the brand name.
If there's going to be a remake, it must be significantly better than the original. That seems extremely unlikely, as the bar is very high in this case.
Further, this film is starting to feel a bit (dare I say it) dated. Kids have a tough time, but it's more and more common for there to be multiple other out kids at high schools, and even middle schools.
