Now I have add another wonderful French film to this list. "Les Chansons D'amour" (2007)(Love Songs). It is a gay themed musical but the story line and all the songs are so good! Some people probably don't care for the musical film. It is a light musical not heavy one. Such a sweet and light French romance. I love it! Don't miss it.

Based on your list, I would highly recommend Juste une question d'amour. It is well worth the price. If you don't understand french, the subtitles on the dvd are pretty good, and the acting and story are outstanding. I also liked another french movie - You'll Get Over It (A Cause d'un Homme) and a kind of different little movie - Dorian Blues.

Happy Together (This is just a beautiful and poetic movie about a messed up relationship. It doesn't matter that the lovers are men. It's just a love story, and it's one of the best movies about a relationship.)

P.S. Be sure to check out "Boys in the Band" if you can. Directed by the brilliant William Friedkin (The Excorcist) in i want to say 70's it's a hysterical and insightful film, considered very first 'gay themed' movie.
