What was your favorite scene?

There were so many! I have seen the movie at least 9 times and I still get a catch in my throat at the dance scene while the hand-held camera spins around Steven and Johnny. The gentle touches really made this a remarkable movie -- the kiss in the tunnel ("You're a better kisser." "Promise?"); the touch in the yearbook office ("Getting a little reckless, aren't you?"); and the touch that Steven gives Johnny at the end ("Be happy, Johnny"). The movie was full of touches that were gentle yet very intense. I don't have a DVD player, but I do have one DVD movie. Yeah, you know it!

I'd say my favorite was when Steven finally left John and the song "freedom" is playing. Don't get me wrong I thought the romance between Steve and John was fantastic...but the relationship in whole was not and I was very happy to see it end. Not to mention there were so many reasons for "freedom" to be playing that it was just the perfect song.

The best scene for me was when Steven confronts Johnny after his date with Christina. Steven has so many raw emotions that just come out on the screen. Another reason that I love this scene is because this is the first time that Johnny tells Steven that he loves him.

I also think that this is the best scene. It is very emotional.

Also I like their first meeting on the bench, with this Johns's phrase: "Fag?" :)
and later at home
- Is it O'k?
- The bed?
- The tea.
And the beginning of the Ball, when Steven is staring at John.
And many other moments :)

I love Logo. This movie is great! I watched it several times. I should go to TLA and see if there is a copy of the DVD. The main actor was TERRRIFIC. Funny, heartfelt. The story was wonderful too. I dont't think American filmmakers would have done it the same way but it was like this film exploded all the cliches. I liked that Steven was not ashamed of himself or pissed he was gay. He was pissed that he couldnt' tell others, although he did hint at it. I liked that he was not a weakling. He was strong. And the fact that he had had dirty toilet sex with strangers and he looked like such a little boy was an interesting choice too. This actor really deserves to be super famous. Not one sour note from him! The other actor was pretty good too but he was more ... I dont' know theatrical or something.

I managed to finally get a copy of this film on DVD (imported kindly, from Spain). Watched it yesterday after work, and... I liked it. I had the feeling (about ten minutes in) that I wouldn't really like this film. But I did. It certainly improves as the film plays out.

I have two favourite scenes. The first is when Steven's mum goes upstairs to check on him. She pulls the bed cover him as he sleeps. This is when she realises that her son could be gay. I thought that was a sweet scene. My second favourite scene is towards the end of the film when Steven announces that he is gay and proud to be gay and that there is nothing wrong with being so. I found that scene very touching and moving. It certainly made my eyes water.

Someone beat me to it! I was going to be the first one to mention the scene where Steven's mother - played by Jacquetta May who is wonderfully subtle and believable in this film - sees Steven in bed and the pictures of John and finally realises her son is gay.

This is a film where most of it is one big nice scene. Too many parts to choose. Many have already listed obvious parts. All the scenes when the two are together are incredible. I think that makes it easier and sums it up. We can see and feel the release of freedom, love, joy and relief in them when they are together in their world.

I think my favourite scene was when Steven and John were just messing around in the pool.

This was a much better film than I expected.

So so many to choose from, but the one that I love the most is the scene with the pair of them larking about in John's swimming pool.Happy, with not a care in the world.Just like the long hot summers of my youth. Its just a pity that shortly after things were going to go pear shaped.

Funniest Scene: Linda pretend to faint.
Best Scene: Steven come out to everyone and that moment he speak not only for himself but also to all gay people about their feelings towards the society.
