growing up, when i was like 6, my cousins were playing this game (along with re3) and it literally scared the *beep* out of me, i couldn't sleep right, i always imagined what if our town suffered the same fate as raccoon city (what an imagination) anyway, by the time turned 10 we got ourselves a PS2 and since it could read play station games we go around to playing re 2 and 3 (nemesis is a scary son of a bitch) after that, i became addicted to it, the more it scared me more i loved the series, RESIDENT EVIL IS THE *beep*

When it first came out I was around 10/11 and it scared the crap out of me.

The early Resident Evil games were truly scary though. The first time I completed Resident Evil 2 I had trouble sleeping that night. The same for Resident Evil 3.

I still struggle dealing with the giant spiders, because I hate spiders. I really hated them in the second sewer tunnel (waterfall tunnel) because the spiders get real close to the camera.

I played this series in my 20s, and my sister was in her 30s and she was scared of this game, especially when I gave her the controller and had her try to play it and she couldn't make the character do anything because you know how the controls are.
