I don't think so, in 2000 the studio asked Brian to do a part 3, but he was to busy with starting up "Fantastic Factory" and didn't accept it. Yuzna has let know that he still intresting in a third one, but if it will ever come... I don't know, but i hope so.

I hope they'll make one eventually, I thought the first 2 were great. Nothing else out there like them. On Edge is also a great killer Dentist short. It's got Doug Bradley from Hellraiser in it.

shareI figure they must have thought of a part 3 because the end of the second one sucked. Maybe Corbin wasnt intrested in continuing his character. Maybe that could be why they never made a part 3. But I want to see a part 3 bad!!
shareCorbin Bersen was/is intresting in that character! Strange but treu, in a interview Brian Yuzna say that Corbin was intresting of buying the rights to make his own sequels. Corbin Bernsen is directing now 2 movie's, which he also produce, there is a change that he remember The Dentist and want to make a part 3, who knows!

I'm still "pulling" for a Part 3. The dentist is never too old to drill. Maybe it was the mood I was in, but I actually thought Part 2 was better than the first.
shareI contacted Yuzna over Facebook. He wants to do a third one and Corbin REALLY wants to do a third one. The biggest problem is rights issues.

We should all write to Lionsgate (who have the rights to this movies) to produce a third one. I think it really could bring some money in for the company, torture horror is in right now!

shareI have him on Facebook to, including Anthony C. Ferrante (make-up supervisor / director of Boo/Sharknado). But; he don't post that much on Facebook, i can understand he gets a lot of emails en requests on Facebook without a chance to answer everybody. If you want to ask him something i think you better can send him a email; i did it a few years ago, with a lot questions about The Dentist movies, it took some months but finally i got a friendly mail back from him :)
