Mike Binder says everything twice.
He says everything twice. Is there some reason for this? I mean, is there a reason?
This not very entertaining sex farce really only has the presence of Mariel Hemingway as an appeal, and while she can't carry it alone, she is awfully funny. Her facial expressions say much more than the script can supply. In one scene, trying to get rid of an unexpected guest, she does a shrug which turns into a sort of performance art, her gangly arms swinging and twisting in amazing ways.
She doesn't seem to be getting much work nowadays, but I hope now that she's older she can find some roles that will put her comedic talent to better use. She deserves it as much as, say, Cate Blanchett.
