What I took From it... (Spoilers)

This sort of reminded me of Splendor in the Grass.

It's like their passion for life and love mixed with their parents oppressive attitudes, drove them crazy.

Also some connections I made:

The Family Name was Lisbon= Lesbian? The first time it was spoken, that's what I heard.

The Therapist name was Dr. Horniker= Horny?

One of the boy's last name was Weiner, but it was pronounced WHINER in the film.

Maybe I'm looking too into it, but in a movie named the VIRGIN suicides, with themes of life, love and obsession that makes a point of turning one number on the house address upside down when Cecilia dies- I don't know, it all seems relevant!

Also, Trips last name was Fontaine- or "Fountain" which has somewhat sexual connotations.

What do you guys think? I'd love to hear what ya'll took away from the film!
