Did the sisters resent Lux?

I haven't read the book, but Lux breaking curfew was the only reason behind their mother's motivation in taking the sisters out of school. The other girls didn't really do anything at all. It is easy to say that some of them did not even enjoy homecoming night, which is highlighted in the scene where Therese (I think) wouldn't drink or makeout with her date. Lux was the one enjoying herself and the night was centered around her and Trip. It just makes me wonder, if in the book, did the sisters ever resent Lux for breaking curfew? Blaming her for losing the little freedom they had to begin with. Side point, ugh Trip... if he had only woken her up when he left, Lux might have been able to make an excuse and all this might have been avoided. No wonder homeboy is in rehab!

True, she could have said Trip's parents let her stay at their house because she was drunk, but then they would have wondered why didn't the parents call and tell them

Are you serious? I think that she would have been better off just keeping her mouth shut and pretending to have amnesia if that's the lie she's going to tell.
