After the dance
When the boys were dropping the sisters off, I was unsure how to read their reactions. The way they sat in the car and one of them let out a deep breath, was that because they enjoyed themselves or were they glad it was over?
shareThe boys were mesmerized by the Lisbon girls. After they dropped the girls off at home they were still feeling a high from being with them. They were feeling that high and surreal feeling that you get when something amazing happens that you can't believe just happened. They drove back to the house because they wanted to be close to the girls again they didn't want to let go of that feeling. They were trying to process their feelings about the night.
shareThank you very much. I thought this as well but I felt thrown off by the fact that one kid never contacted Therese again. This movie was so beautiful and sad. I plan on reading the book.
