I was doing my nails while watching so im not sure if i saw this right but its bugging me. When lux tells the boys to come in while she starts the car, before the short one goes in lux leans over to say something. It looked like she unclipped something from his pants and took it. At first i thought it was the keys but she didnt use their car so what did she take? Or did i completely see it wrong??

To me it just looked like she undid his belt buckle like she was flirting with him, maybe to throw him off like nothing was wrong. They were going to take her family's station wagon so she would've had those keys herself.

This is correct. However, I believe the undoing of the belt was to throw US off.

I think she did it to flirt because getting attention of boys was a high feeling for her. And flirting became second nature.
