Shame it's Hillary propaganda, but would be awesome if it leads to a proper reunion run! Despite the subject, they still have chemistry and are funny together <3
The set was recreated almost perfectly, that's a lot of effort to go to for ten minutes! they could easily have set it in an office or something. So maybe it was made for future use? Maybe this was a warm up?

THIS!
That is a lot of money to spend just to film a 10 minute mini-episode that they then gave away for free online. And I don't believe they would get Rosario back just for that one scene at the end.
Sean Hayes posted a picture that said "#votehoney" and it appeared in the episode as well. It is completely unrelated to anything within the episode.
I believe #votehoney is referring to Grace's Aunt Honey. I think they are going to release several more of these mini episodes with a full storyline.
I will be very surprised if this is all we get.
Why would it not be Hillary propaganda? It was a show about two gay men and their Hag's. Yeah, they would really be voting for Trump.
I agree. I don't think these types of political jokes are new to Will and Grace. I think if these characters were real today, they would be saying the things they said in the episode. It's faithful to the characters. The writers are tackling topical/pop culture situations and people which is what they've always done!
I will say though, it would be nice if they made a few jokes about Clinton and not just Trump. Even Karen who was supporting Trump didn't take any digs at Clinton. She easily could've made a joke about e-mailing Hillary nudes which got leaked online or something. I think the clear bias on the writers behalf is what people have a problem with, not the characters individual stances.
I remember the episode where there's an election for the mayor of New York City. Will and Grace have very shallow reasons for supporting their respective candidates and they both turn out to be horrible people. I feel like this is more the direction they should've gone in.
Although, I was high when I watched this.

What do you mean? It states #votehoney at the end of the mini-episode. This is in reference to Karen, when she calls Jack 'honey', and the voting in regards to the election...

Ah yes You're right. My wishful thinking got the better of me. There's an article about the video online. Here's a quote.
the idea of the video came from Will & Grace creator Max Mutchnick and was prompted by a need to move the show's original sets from Emerson College, where they have been housed for the past 10 years since the NBC Emmy darling concluded its eight-season run.
So they didn't spend money on rebuilding the sets or anything. I think this was just a one off.

So disappointed that it turned out to be Hillary Propaganda that I'm sure Debra Messing organized given how she's been looking for any opportunity to shill for Hillary Clinton she can find.
Karen was still hilarious though, and the cast still has that same old chemistry. Hopefully NBC sees what they've got here and brings it back for at least a small, true run.
I don't even care that it's political. I would watch debra messing blow smoke up hillary's ass for a full season if it meant getting a will & grace reboot, lmao. that's how much i love this show.
does anyone know where this fits in the continuity of the show? i recall they didn't speak for years then lost touch until there children of different ages both started college on the same day. When They met in the dorm they seemed amazed about the ageing thing so it had clearly been a good long time
To put it bluntly, it doesn't fit within the continuity of the show. This is essentially part of a plea for Hillary Clinton votes and should not be accepted as canon. It's just a fun little scene that should be taken at face value; it has no real place within the canon Will & Grace universe.
exactly. Its more of a this was filmed before that episode because Will and Grace still live together. Karen is still married to Stan and Jack is poor.
