Some time later after the car accident, Mima and Rumi are still alive. Rumi is in a mental institution, probably convicted for the murders. Now Rumi goes back and forth between her own personality and thinking that she is still Mima. Mima comes to see Rumi in the mental institution and gives her flowers, but she doesn't actually go and visit her because she is still unstable. When Mima leaves the institution, two of the nurses start to whisper wondering if that is the real Mima but assume that she would never come to a mental institution. Mima gets in her car and looks at herself in her rearview mirror, saying to herself that she is the real Mima. Then the credits roll with some bad music. The only bad thing about the ending is the credits.
