Futurama or The Simpsons

I know that this hasn't been on the boards of either show in a long time so I'm asking which is the best? For me it is Futurama. You could do so much with the 31rst century than you can with modern day America. In Futurama, everybody traveled to other planets,thru time so thru experiments,etc... Some of these things are done on The Simpsons but Futurama does it better and even the the characters are better. I'll take Leela over Marge. If I can think of more reasons I'll let you know. I'll take Futurama and I'm glad that it ended when it did and not go on forever like The Simpsons.

The early run of the Simpsons is the best, no question, through just about Season 10.

When Futurama came out though, Simpsons had started to go down hill... so if you were comparing the Simpsons as a whole through 2003 I'd have said Futurama.

Once Futurama came back though, it wasn't nearly as funny as its initial run. So I think as a whole... Simpsons wins.

I still enjoy the first 4 seasons of Futurama very much though.
