very peacefull movie

This film is a very religious, and peacefull film, with deep discussions about life, and harmony that are metaphors in the great game of golf. It's about being one with peace, and embracing the beauty of the world, and of course life. It's played out as a golf film and yet it's more of a spiritual film. Bagger Vance is clearly an angel, the hole in one is clearly played out in the film as a miracle with choral music in the background, and of course when old Hardy sees Bagger again and follows him toward the sunset, well you get the point. Anyone agree??

I agree.

really? Thank you, I was so impressed with this film I recently reviewed it for my hometown newspaper, I gave it a very positive review.

Depends what you take from it. I agree it's a great 'meaning of life' film. But I thought it was more that the drive and deterination you get from your chosen sport gets you through some tough times. This is even greater with solo sports, like golf. For me it used to be the gym - it was just you and the bar, nothing else mattered.

Bauer vs. Bourne, that is the question.

I agree. This movie made my relax, which was great since I watched it on a Sunday afternoon.
