An Unknown Fact

The movie is actually loosely based on the hindu epic, Bhagavad Gita. The character "Bagger Vance" is based on Bhagavan and "Rannulph Junuh" is based on Arjuna... ( R. Junuh, get it?). It's just something I realized and the similarities are too great for it to be a coincidence I think.

with no one to pull me back.

If you say "Bagger Vance" really fast but pronounce it like "bugger" as opposed to "bagger" it SORT of sounds like Bhhagavan and "R Junuh" IS Arjuna... Haha, yes, I got that!

I like that it's based on it. It gives the movie just something extra =]
