They didn't really do anything slightly perverted. Maybe you saw the scene where Will Smith's character touched the boy's face because he was leaving but even then I never saw that as perverted.
What happened during the scene you saw?
There is nothing remotely perverted in this movie.

on the golf court talking about the authentic swing? you sure it wasn't your own mind reading things into it?
then again... he is a man alone with a child with no one to supervise... yes, in these enlightened times that's perverted... Bagger'd be lynched if people'd caught them...
Bloody hell,no wonder men dont want to teach in infant schools any more, whith that kind of attitiude from the original poster, really pathetic mate, nothing perverted at all, unless they showed him grab his arse,or look at him funny which they did not, people dont half think some weird *beep* when watching films.
shareOh Good Lord! Somebody's mind is the gutter!
Why does everything have to be perceived as sexual these days? When he touched the boys face, it was very sweet. If you watched the very end you SHOULD be able to figure out why!
"The guitar is fine as a hobby, John, but you'll never make a living at it."
well it was like god touched junuh and the kid... in the end the kid , now old dies and walks towards god in heaven...
since it more than obvious the bagger was supposed to be a god stand-in, it cant be perverted...
not unless seeing christ strung up on a cross can be called demonic or gory...
This is YOUR LIFE and it is ending one minute at a time!
Certainly not as perverted as your spelling of "scene".
shareI'm sorry, I can't find a SINGLE scene in the movie that's perverted.

Have fun. Play loud. Live free. Die proud.
I believe the poster was referring to the scene where the child seeks out Junuh at his drinking haunt to convince him to play the tournament, and ends up falling asleep. Theron's character then enters (with the intent of a bit on intimate congress with Junuh), but objects to the boy being present. Junuh, however (and this being the act that the poster regarded perverted), despite knowing the boy was awake, convinced her that he was fast asleep and that she should continue.
This was not a perverted act, however, on Junuh's part because the 'education' to which he refers when the woman has gone was not one of a sexual nature, but of the nature of the world/ women. Juhuh did not anticipate any sexual activity at this point.
