When they were playing the final hole, Junhu was the last to tee off. As only a few holes earlier he was 3 down on the rest, it would be safe to assume he had won the holes previous to the last, so he should have had the honour (the first to tee off).

I said the same thing when I watched this movie. He should have had honors.
The only thing I can think of was that they did not have the "honors" rule back then. I don't know much about the history of golf to know when that system came about.
