Improved my golf game

This movie has made me a better golfer. Every time I hit an approach shot or putt, I try to "see the field" as Bagger says. I try to relax, exhale, picture where the ball is going, and feel it. It's all about getting in the right rhythm and learning to "stop thinking without falling asleep". Learning to overcome the feeling that the "flag is some dragon that you've gotta slay" is what has helped me get in the groove.

But in all reality, this movie isn't really about golf. The story line is a lot deeper than people seem to realize. That scene where Matt Damon is back in that same forest with the light shining through the trees gets me every time. Powerful. Not to mention the beautiful cinematography and memorable characters.

Great Movie.

Improved mine too. Now, if I'm struggling, I imagine Charlize Theron offering to have sex with me if I win. Does wonders for my motivation.

I just remember Damon's garbage swing and it makes me feel like I could beat bobby Jones too.

Yeah I always felt a man's grip on his club is like a man's grip on his world...

You have to be in control, but not clutching so fearfully that you'll mess up and miss.

They played the PGA Tour Championship at the Bagger Vance course this year (2021).
I was thinking it looked familiar. Very tough course, even for the pros, especially when the wind is blowing.
