great cast!

Pacino's finest period in his career was probably the 90s, the devils advocate, heat, glengarry glenn ross, the insider, donnie brasco, any given sunday, scent of a woman etc and any given sunday can be added to that list, he's brilliant!

Jamie Foxx was excellent as the other lead actor, especially since it was his first big film.

Denis Quaid was also fantastic, perfect casting by Oliver Stone for the part of Cap Rooney. Also watch 'Far from Heaven' to see how good an actor he can be.

LL Cool J was another bit of perfect casting, probably the best performance by a rapper turned actor of all time. Surprisingly a top notch performance

And then you've James Woods doing a role he could have played in his sleep: evil, fast-talking and very funny!

Matthew Modine and Aaron Eckhart did well in the small roles but I thought in terms of minor parts John C Mc Ginley (DR COX!) stole the show!

So all in all a fine bit of ensemble acting....just not from cameron diaz!!
