There's the theatrical release version, then there's the director's cut. Tempted to get the latter -- any reason not to ?

According to the alternate versions section here on imdb, the theatrical version has around 11 mins worth of footage that's not in the director's cut, and the director's cut has 6 minutes of footage that's not in the theatrical version. So either way you go, sounds like you'll be missing a few scenes.
